Course Description
This course is a major introduction to the world of art.
Participants will learn about the main elements of lines form, composition, shadow, light, colour and texture. They will also be trained in the proper use of pencils, erasers, paste and various types of colours, from water colours to oil pastels. They will examine the various colour theories in depth, including the colour circle, complementary colour concepts, warm and cold colours, basic and secondary colours, and harmony and contrast. They will also study elements of perspective through still life paintings
