Meeting point: Information Centre, Al Mureijah Square

Participants are invited to embark on a trip to Umm Al Quwain with March Project artist May Rashed to study her method of gathering inspiration and ideas for her work through exploring both abandoned and familiar locations. As they engage with the artist, they will gain a deeper understanding of the artistic process and brainstorming methods, which can help them develop their own work.
Rashed creates works using painting, photography, performance, video and podcasts. She explores the art and cultural scene in the UAE and reflects on the relationship between ontology (being and becoming) and society.
