Synopsis
The story conveys a narration of a sole child who is known by Yusuf and lives with his parents in an isolated forest area. The strong bond that Yusuf has with his father Yakup, who is an apiarist, cannot protect him from becoming an ‘outsider’ during his first year of school. His mother Zehra is concerned about his learning abilities, while Yusuf is not sure if he will follow his father’s footsteps, or overcome his learning obstacles in school. His anxiety escalates more when his father does not return home from work, and he takes the journey into the unknown searching for his biggest inspiration – his father.
