The Art of Boats
In collaboration with Sharjah Maritime Museum

Location: Sharjah Maritime Museum, Al Khan
Languages: English and Arabic



Take an excursion to the Sharjah Maritime Museum to explore the relationship between Sharjah’s inhabitants and the sea. Learn about different types of boats and traditional shipbuilding systems. After the tour, make a mini boat with string art, outlining the shape of the boat with nails and then filling in the shape by wrapping yarn around the nails.
