Course Description
This course covers the most important tools of Arabic calligraphy, including the bamboo pen and the benefits of writing with it as well as the reason it is considered more special than other types of pens in its ability to elucidate Arabic calligraphy rules. Participants will be shown the proper way to cut a bamboo pen according to the script style and size. The rest of the tools, such as Al’Mahbara [inkstand] and its preparation before filling it with ink, will be explained.
