Zarina Bhimji’s Untitled (a sketch) consists of three dresses made out of maps of the United Kingdom, East Africa and India. The dresses symbolise the impact these nations had on her while she was growing up. Participants will be recreating Bhimji’s work by drawing objects and figures that represent their culture on different pieces of fabric and then stitching the smaller pieces into one large piece.
