Souq Mapping – Mixed Media

Mapping is an old technique used to document routes and roads. Inspired by the artist Marwan Rechmaoui, this workshop will give the participants an opportunity to learn the process of creating an artistic map. They will start with a walk from Souq Al Shanasiyah to Bait Obaid Al Shamsi, after which they will create their map using a variety of materials, including found objects from the souq, paper scraps and other art mediums.
