Description
Representing a range of initiatives that explore various intersections of art and education, speakers on this panel will consider what specific conditions have encouraged the development of alternative education models across the MENASA. How can different models and scales of educational institutions not only respond to the needs of artists, art practitioners and communities within a local context, but also become hubs for discussion, study and experimentation that contribute to larger discourses on contemporary art and life? What role can such initiatives play in the collective building of knowledge and the construction of a broader artistic and institutional ecology?
