Sharjah Art Foundation is excited to announce an acting masterclass led by Tunisia’s leading playwright and performer Jalila Baccar.
Taking place on 13 January 2024, the masterclass will focus on readings from Baccar's celebrated play In Search for Aida (1998).
Participants will receive two days of intensive instructions from Baccar, who will also share her writing process and explore the play's themes.
The masterclass will conclude with a presentation on 26 October 2023, open to the public but with a limited number of seats. This exclusive learning opportunity from Baccar is available to actors, theatre students and performance students living in the UAE and the wider Gulf region.
The Foundation will cover flight tickets and accommodation for the selected participants who live outside the UAE.
