Ceramics (Intermediate)
Sharjah Art Institute Course
Dates: Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 12 January–18 March 2020
Timings: 9:00 am–3:00 pm
Location: Sharjah Art Institute, Arts Square
Ages: 17+
Languages: English and Arabic
Participants will learn how to make pottery pieces on a rotating electric potter’s wheel. They will receive instruction in how to prepare and knead clay and learn some decorative techniques used for plates, vases and cups. They will also gain an understanding of how to produce murals of different sizes and use gypsum moulds for casting ceramics.

The registration fee for each course is AED 500 per person for both morning and evening sessions. Materials are provided by Sharjah Art Foundation.
