Talk Description

In times of war, conflict and collective trauma, photojournalists capture vital visual testimony of real-world events unfolding on the ground, in addition to documenting and memorialising powerful moments of human resilience and survival. This conversation explores the nature, role and process of bearing witness to conflict and war, past and present, and the complex ethical choices that have to be made.
