The desire to represent objects seen by our eyes, and to draw the third dimension, goes way back in time. Pharaohs, Persians and the inhabitants of the Near and Middle East tried to depict depth in an illusory way through their drawings. In this workshop, some basic principles, elements and types of perspectives will be introduced through exercises, appropriate experiments and drawings executed with pencils.
