Workshop Description
Participants will redesign the traditional Middle Eastern and North African khamsa hand amulet with a non-traditional artmaking technique called foil scraping. They will scrape templates with abstract patterns into cardboard hands using techniques that will enable them to learn how to achieve symmetry and balance in their art.
