Join curator Dr Omar Kholeif for a special lecture and extended tour to explore the exhibition ‘Drawing Time: Duets’. Unfurling the inner lives of artworks and their making, Kholeif will walk the audience through the works on display.
Experience poetry readings that touch on themes of race and the body, and witness the constitution and wounds of a piece of art removed from the gallery walls. Investigate how art and history intersect amid global crises, influencing both present circumstances and future trajectories.
Accompanying you during this experience will be John Labib, Collections and Conservation Manager at Sharjah Art Foundation, Souraya Kreidieh and Khalid Jauffer, integral members of the Drawing Time: Duets curatorial team.
