Light Painting Photography
Workshop for Adults
Date: Saturday, 22 February 2020
Timings: 10:00 am–1:00 pm
Location: Collections Building, Arts Square
Ages: 18+
Languages: English and Arabic
This workshop will introduce participants to the form of art photography known as light painting. In a dark space, they will use handheld artificial lights to paint in the air while the shutter of a camera is left open for a long exposure time. The resulting photographic images will capture the unique patterns and streaks made with the lights.
Participants need to bring their own DSLR camera to the workshop. Tripods and other gear will be provided. This workshop is open to all experience levels.
