Overview
Participants will embark on a journey to Khorfakkan to explore and photograph its streets and people. Throughout the photowalk, they will be encouraged to interact with locals of the area and find stories they can use to create a narrative for their photographs. Participants will also have the chance to meet and connect with fellow photographers and members of the community. Transportation from Al Mureijah Square to Khorfakkan and back will be provided.
About the instructor
Foto UAE (@foto.uae) is a photographers platform founded by Ola Allouz, which focuses on building a strong community of like-minded artists by organising periodic photowalks and meet-ups at different locations in the UAE. Ola Allouz is an Emirati artist born in Dubai. She studied accounting at UAE University and photography at the Emirates Fine Arts Society, developing a love for telling stories with her camera.
