Sewing (Advanced)
Ages: 15+
Dates: Mondays to Thursdays, 8 May –25 June
Timings: 10:00 am–12:00 pm or 5:00 pm–7:00 pm
Location: Al Madam Art Centre
Languages: Arabic and English
Learn the most common hand embroidery stitches, including the running stitch, backstitch, split stitch, stem stitch, satin stitch, French knot, chain stitch, feather stitch, seed stitch, lazy daisy and woven wheel rose. Then apply your knowledge of the stitches on a project of your choice, for example, a T-shirt, tote bag or pillow case.
