As people around the world have been living through the COVID-19 pandemic, perhaps the first pandemic of the century, film festivals have had to confront and rapidly adjust to growing digitalisation. This panel will focus on the need for film festival organisers to conceptualise, shape, initiate and sustain a digital screening model and explore ways in which film festivals can simultaneously entertain their audiences and sustain staff, executives, film professionals and distributors as they prepare for the next phase of film festivals.
