Workshop for Children and Families

At the beginning of this course, participants will be selecting a book as their storyboard to create puppets and a movie inspired by it.
Characters and setup: Puppet making
Workshop for Children and Families
Date: Tuesday, 23 August 2022
Timings: 11:00 am–1:00 pm

Ages: 11–15

Participants will be creating puppets as characters from the book, and preparing the film setup.
Filming and voiceover
Workshop for Children and Families
Date: Thursday, 25 August 2022
Timings: 11:00 am–1:00 pm
Location: Gallery 4, Al Mureijah Art Spaces
Ages: 11–15
Languages: English and Arabic
Participants will learn how to move the puppets, start filming and add voiceovers.
Editing and film screening
Workshop for Children and Families
Date: Saturday, 27 August 2022
Timings: 11:00 am–1:00 pm
Location: Gallery 4, Al Mureijah Art Spaces
Ages: 11–15
Languages: English and Arabic
At the end of the course, participants will learn basics of editing to edit their short puppet film and watch the final outcome.
