Acting 01
Workshop for Children and Families
Date: Sunday, 31 July 2022
Timings: 11:00 am–1:00 pm
Location: Collections Building, Arts Square
Ages: 6–10
Languages: English and Arabic
In this workshop, participants will be introduced to acting. They will learn about method acting and how to develop some techniques through memory exercises. Participants will later practice together by conducting scene works and monologues.
From painting to film
Workshop for Children and Families
Date: Tuesday, 2 August 2022
Timings: 11:00 am–1:00 pm
Location: Collections Building, Arts Square
Ages: 6–10
Languages: English and Arabic
In this workshop, participants will be using paintings as a source of concept to create a film. Through discussions with each other, and the director, on the script, method of filming, clothing and the theme of the film, they will work in groups to produce a short scene.
Film screening

Location: The Flying Saucer, Dasman
Ages: 6–10
Languages: English and Arabic
A film will be screened at The Flying Saucer in Dasman as part of the Children and Families Learning Programme.
