Event Description
Join Sharjah Art Foundation on Saturday, May 31 at 5:00 pm when artist Susan Hefuna talks about her work.
This event is related to the exhibition Susan Hefuna: Another Place, the Artist’s first major solo exhibition in the region bringing together a large selection of work realised from the 1980s to the present day.
Susan Hefuna uses drawing, photography and video to explore the intersection between identity, social politics and place. From the grid patterns of her mashrabiya works, to the lines of her drawings and the lattice-like forms of her palm-wood towers, Hefuna reveals the importance of structure in her practice.
All SAF events are free and open to the public.
