Overview

The Sharjah Art Foundation presents Talk8 an open platform for art students from high school through university to present their responses to Sharjah Biennial 10.

Participating institutions include the College of Architecture and Design, American University of Sharjah; Al Amal School for the Deaf, Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services; and the Ibn Seena High School, Sharjah.

Students will be given 8 minutes to present, as individuals or groups, their responses to the Biennial in the format or media of their choice. This could be an artwork, a poem, a conversation, a video or even a performance.

Presentations should be approximately 6 minutes long with 2 minutes allocated to questions and discussion. This style of succinct, quick-fire presentation is a relaxed way of presenting ideas and helps to keep things moving at a quick pace. The event is intended as a creative activity and should be fun!

The public is welcome to attend and support the next generation of creative talents flourishing in the UAE.

Presentations will be in English.
