Workshop Description
This lecture will introduce participants to the relationship between technology and Arabic calligraphy. The significance of Arabic calligraphy and whether technology has been able to produce it will be discussed. Participants will be offered a perspective on preserving and strengthening Arabic calligraphy techniques, especially as they are used in the writing of the Quran.
