Workshop Description

Following a tour of Sharjah Art Foundation’s FOCAL POINT art book fair, participants will be invited to try their hand at observational drawing. They will illustrate pages of a sketchbook with what they see around them, from people reading and browsing books to the design features of the book fair venue Bait Obaid Al Shamsi. The result will be a portrait of life at the book fair in the form of a unique sketchbook that participants can keep and illustrate further.
