Participants will create posters inspired by the layout and architecture of a building of their choice, applying the linocut printing techniques introduced during the session.

Overview

In this workshop, participants will learn about the structure and history of some of Sharjah Art Foundation’s most iconic buildings, including the Kalba Ice Factory and The Flying Saucer. Using this knowledge, they will create posters inspired by the layout and architecture of a building of their choice, applying the linocut printing techniques introduced during the session. Selected posters will be exhibited and sold at the Sharjah Art Foundation shop. The profits will be used to fund public Community Outreach and Education programmes.
