Course Description
This course is designed to familiarise participants with effective skills and strategies for writing about art. Topics to be covered in the course include general principles and conditions for writing about art, horizontal and vertical writing, writing about one artwork as opposed to writing about a group of similar or different artworks, theoretical approaches to writing about art based on readings in art criticism books and articles, and practical application exercises for participants to put their theoretical knowledge of art into practice.
