Hicham Benohoud

Biography

Hicham Benohoud has recently participated in exhibitions at the Royal Museum of Fine Art, Brussels (2014), Grand Palais, Paris (2010), Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2006), Mori Art Museum, Tokyo (2006), Centre Pompidou (2005), Aperture Foundation, New York (2005) and the Museum of Decorative Arts, Paris (1999). His works are in the collections of the Royal Palace, Morocco, La Maison Rouge, Paris, Marseille Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations, Marseille, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid and Tate Modern, London. Benohoud holds a BFA and joined the Regional Educational Center of Marrakech as a teacher. In 2001, he left teaching to join the Galerie VU in Paris. He currently lives and works in Casablanca.
