Biography

Nadine Bilong is a curator and arts professional who focuses on performance art. She employs the movement intrinsic to performance art to express a multiplicity of emotions and systems of being. She sees art as both material and immaterial.

Invited to propose an exhibition of three to five artists for the Dak’art Biennale 2016, Bilong organised Manifeste de la Cité dans le Jour Bleu, which included performances by such artists as Barthélémy Toguo, Myriam Mihindou, Jean-François Boclé, Koffi Kwahulé, Anne Mapoubi, Fred Ebami, Aj Dirtystein and Marc Alexandre Oho Bambe. She is also the founder of the performance and installation platform BREATH’ARTS PERFORMA.

She completed a master’s degree in international business administration at EMLyon Business School, France. She also received a bachelor’s degree with a major in Arts and Cultural Management from Bocconi University, Milan. She is currently completing a degree in art history at the University of Charles de Gaulle Lille 3, France.
