Jieun Cho

Biography

Jieun Cho (b. 1975, Seoul) is actively engaged in the visual research band ikkibawiKrrr and the art group Mixrice. He explores themes of migration, community and old trees using various media, and occasionally ventures into cartooning. He has participated in the 14th Gwangju Biennale titled Soft and Weak like Water (2023); documenta fifteen, Germany (2022); and Cosmopolis #1: Collective Intelligence, Center Pompidou, Paris (2016).
