Biography
Before his appointment by the government of Sergueï Bagapsh in 2010, Maxim Gvinjia had served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs since March 2004. Gvinjia was born in 1976 in Sukhumi, USSR. He earned a degree from the Gorlovsky State Institute for Foreign Languages in Ukraine in 1998.
