Biography
Miki Kasahara works primarily in three dimensions, using materials such as fibre-reinforced plastic. Her visual style is mostly Pop, and she often looks at the superficial images that preoccupy people, a reflection of the media environment in which her generation has developed. Other subjects in her work include traditional Japanese spirituality and New Year’s festivities. In her art, Kasahara presents different viewpoints on the world in which we live.
