Biography
In his drawings, videos and sculpture, multimedia artist Oliver Laric employs complex technological methods of fabrication. He investigates the productive potential of the copy, the bootleg and the remix in order to examine the role they play in the creation of historic and contemporary image cultures.

Laric’s work can be found in the collections of the Cleveland Museum of Art; Haubrok Collection, Berlin; Kadist Foundation, Paris and San Francisco; Museum Moderner Kunst, Vienna; Walker Art Center, Minneapolis; and Zabludowicz Collection, London.
He is the co-founder of the VVORK platform (www.vvork.com). He completed a residency at the Fondation d'entreprise Galeries Lafayette, Paris (2015).
Laric graduated from the University of Applied Arts Vienna (2005). Born in 1981 in Innsbruck, Austria, he currently lives and works in Berlin.
