Biography
Writer Filipa Ramos is editor-in-chief of art agenda and co-curator of Vdrome, a programme of regular screenings of films by visual artists and filmmakers.
She was associate editor of Manifesta Journal and has contributed to dOCUMENTA (13) (2012) and documenta 14 (2017). Her writing on art, film and animals has been published in major cultural publications and exhibition catalogues. She recently edited Animals (Whitechapel: Documents of Contemporary Art/MIT Press, 2016).
She is a lecturer in the Experimental Film MA course at Kingston University and the MRes Art: Moving Image at Central Saint Martins, both in London, and collaborates with the Master of Arts programme at the Institut Kunst, Basel.
Born in Lisbon, she lives and works in London.
