Biography
Rose Nordin (b. 1987, London) is a British-Malay artist and graphic designer. Through her practice and research, Nordin explores publication as a site of exchange and collaboration, examining print technologies as tools for union and letter forms as modes of magic. As a designer, Nordin makes artist books and printed matter, working closely with artists and communities. Her book making process extends to exhibition and custom type design. She has participated in residencies at Jan Van Eyck Academie, Somerset House Studios (UK), documenta fifteen (Germany), Art Night (UK), Serpentine Galleries (UK), Portland Institute of Contemporary Art (USA), Tai Kwan Contemporary (Hong Kong) and AWE Galley (Malaysia). Previously, Nordin was a research associate at iniva in the UK, Social Practice Fellow at the University of Chicago and associate lecturer at the University of the Arts London.
