Biography
Reem Saeed is a UAE national with a passion for photography. She was influenced by her father who was also a photographer. Brought up in a time when photographs/videos were considered highly valuable documents, Reem’s father would take videos and have them developed overseas to cinema reels. Her family used to store photographs neatly in boxes organized by date.
Reem started photographing just by a mobile and in 10 years she was holding a canon 5D Mark II. She is a self-learned who believes that smart handhelds are an interesting way to approach photography and that sophisticated gadgets are not necessary to deliver art. Reem enjoys taking road trips and documenting what she feels influenced by. Apart from participating in numerous photography contests, Reem has also learned a lot from attending workshops and working with groups of young photographers.
