Biography
Luc Sante's books include Folk Photography (2009), Kill All Your Darlings: Pieces 1990-2005 (2007), Walker Evans (1999), The Factory of Facts (1998), Evidence (1992) and Low Life (1991). He has written extensively about the US cultural life and he regularly contributes to the New York Review of Books. Awards include an Infinity Award, International Center of Photography (2010), Grammy Award for Best Album Notes (1998) American Academy of Arts and Letters Award (1997) and Guggenheim Fellowship (1992-93).
