Biography
Sofia Niazi (b. 1986, London) is an artist based between London and the West Midlands. Her work spans painting, textiles and video. Her current focus is on the relationship between technology, health and traditional craft in the digital age. Through her practice, Niazi continually engages with artist publishing, working on many publications, both independently and collaboratively, and co-organising publishing fairs across the UK. She founded collaborative publishing collective OOMK, which publish works exploring art, politics and faith, with Rose Nordin and Heiba Lamara. Niazi also runs Rabbits Road Press, a community Risograph printing press in Newham, London.
