Overview
Tamawuj.org is the online publishing platform of Sharjah Biennial 13, curated by Christine Tohme. Functioning as a site of inquiry and reflection, Tamawuj has been developed in close collaboration with the biennial’s four main interlocutors (Kader Attia, Zeynep Öz, Lara Khaldi, and Ashkal Alwan), who organised events throughout the year in Dakar, Istanbul, Ramallah, and Beirut, respectively. The ambition of Tamawuj, which works across numerous locations and languages, has been to build upon the biennial’s themes by adding new contributions and engaging in dialogue with a broader audience. The editors of Tamawuj are Omar Berrada, Amal Issa, Kaelen Wilson-Goldie and Brian Kuan Wood.
