Biography
Toleen Touq is an independent cultural operator based in Amman, Jordan. She is co initiator of the cross-disciplinary platform The River Has Two Banks, operating between Jordan and Palestine as well as Founding Director of Spring Sessions, a communal arts residency and education programme in Amman. She regularly collaborates with local and international initiatives on matters of cultural policy as well as visual arts, music and discursive programmes. Her work has been published in Ibraaz (London), Manifesta Journal (Amsterdam), A Prior (Ghent), Review and others. She has spoken at March Meeting 2010 and various other conferences and seminars.
