Overview
Palestinian-American Tarek Halaby’s performance for the Biennial is an unfinished project, an ongoing product or situation that echoes the unresolved Palestinian situation. Exploring the complexity of contemporary identity through a part performance and part stand-up comedy approach, his work questions and explores the ironies and paradoxes of art with deliberate political content.
