overview
"The form is the result of a continuous, ever new effort. The individual wave is nothing, it does not interest me. But after this wave another one comes, and yet another one. Each requires the previous and the following one - and all the others that will follow. Without this continuous power of the water, the individual waves would collapse, disappear. All together they only form a single, huge wave. You do not isolate a Single tone of a symphony either. It is a consequence of the movement of music which swells, whose individual parts overlap, which eventually fades, sculpture and music have the same sounding and continuously renewed space."
