Curated by Peter Lewis, the exhibition /seconds. presented a selection of artists’ works from the online journal /seconds., that provide thought on how actual objects and events emerge by chance, from its virtual space. This booklet, that accompanied the exhibition, comprised a selection of texts about art, technology and politics published in the issues of the journal /seconds. Together, the writings enable the reader to ask difficult questions. It includes essays by Emily Allchurch and Nigel Warburton, Gail Burton, Stephen Clarke, John Francescutti and Lanfranco Aceti, Peter Kennard, Peter Lewis, Falke Pisano and Stephanie Polsky.
