Overview

Organized with the support of ArteEast and MoMA, Sharjah Art Foundation Director Jack Persekian and Sharjah Biennial 10 Co-curator Suzanne Cotter (Curator of Exhibitions Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Project] and Rasha Salti (Creative Director, ArteEast), will speak on a panel that will explore both past and future of contemporary art production in Sharjah as the Biennail celebrates its 10th anniversary in March of 2011.

Also speaking will be Filmmaker Maha Maamoun whose Sharjah Biennial 9 Prize winner work Domestic Tourism II was recently screened during MoMA’s film program Mapping Subjectivity. Experimentation in Arab cinema, 1960-Now, Part 1 , organized in partnership with ArteEast.
