Sharjah Art Foundation President and Director Sheikha Hoor Al Qasimi in conversation with Abdullah Al Saadi and Ahmed Mater explores the artists’ relationship to their surroundings and its influence on their work.

Abduallah Al Saadi's and Ahmed Mater’s multimedia practice is informed by their daily life. Using visual elements to explore wider issues of social, cultural and personal concerns, their work often documents the landscapes within which they live.

This event will be held on Wednesday, February 19 at thejamjar, Dubai in conjunction with SAF’s upcoming exhibitions:Abdullah Al Saadi: Al-Toubay and Ahmed Mater: 100 Found Objects scheduled to open February 22, SAF Art Spaces.
