Biography
Cooperativa Cráter Invertido is a space of articulations between artistic practices and collective processes, established to create common imaginaries. It self-manages a multidisciplinary house-workshop in Mexico City, inhabited by a Risographic printing press and a free radio, among other tools for dialogue, encounter and self-publishing. The cooperative is also nourished by a variety of decentralised processes related to the care and defence of territories, (bio)diversities, shared learning and communality.
The house is a living being—a refuge for work, listening, rest and common fabrics. It opens its doors to the diverse projects and imaginaries that emerge in indistinct bodies. It lovingly houses a library that stacks pages of reflections and literary and imaginative creation as well as Taller XD, the RISO that shares the cooperative’s commitment to self-publishing. The Taller XD workshop, a collective space focused on editorial processes, produces complete print publications, taking care of the entire editorial cycle.
