Biography
After receiving her BFA from the National College of Arts in Lahore, Aisha Khalid spent two years at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam in 2002. Her video and multi-media work combines multiple temporal, spatial, cultural, political and aesthetic references. Over the last decade she has had solo exhibitions in Pakistan, the US, India and the UK and has participated in numerous group shows including the 2009 Venice Biennale.
