Overview
The conceptual and context oriented work of Karin Sander challenges preconceptions about gallery spaces and viewing situations while also inviting the viewer to question the way in which things are perceived in general. In making this work the artist creates a sculpture that reflects
the exhibition and its display, literally and conceptually. The highly polished surface dissolves the boundary between the sculpture and the space in which it is contemplated.
