Overview
As part of its Programme for Youth and Adults, Sharjah Art Foundation offers a number of talks and symposia on a wide range of topics and contemporary issues. Talks and panels related to art theory and practice–frequently inspired by Sharjah Art Foundation’s rolling exhibition programme–are held throughout the year, giving audiences the opportunity to hear from leading artists, curators, academics and other visionaries from the art world. Included as well are specialised symposia; professional development programmes; public events in partnership with local, regional and international partners; and the Foundation’s annual flagship events and conferences such as the talks programme at Sharjah Film Platform. The talks and symposia on offer are aimed at diverse audiences, ranging from the general public, academics and students to art practitioners and industry professionals from the local, regional and international art scene.
